Canvassing 101
Canvassing 101: Answering Common Questions About AES Door-to-Door Sales
When it comes to working as a canvasser for Allied Emergency Services (AES), there are a lot of questions that prospective candidates may have. From "Do canvassers go on roofs?" to "Do I need to be comfortable with heights?" and "Do I need my own ladder?", these are all valid concerns that need addressing.
First and foremost, it's important to note that as a canvasser for AES, you will not be going on roofs or climbing ladders. Your primary role is to visit homes in your designated area and offer free, no-obligation roof inspections to potential customers. You will not be performing any physical labor or climbing on roofs.
Additionally, while some of our canvassers may have experience in the roofing industry, it is not a requirement. We provide comprehensive training for all new hires, so even if you have no prior experience in the field, you'll be equipped with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.
As for the fear of heights, it's worth noting that canvassing primarily takes place on the ground. However, if you do have a fear of heights, it's important to consider if this job is the right fit for you.
In terms of earning potential, AES canvassers have the opportunity to earn big commissions and bonuses, with many of our top performers earning well over $100,000 a year.
At AES, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to build a successful career.
